Workshops for children and youth

I offer artistic workshops for children and youth groups as well as children together with their adults. My workshops take place at my studio but also in venues such as cultural centers, libraries, museums, theaters, after-school programs, festivals and similar settings. In all my workshops, I place great emphasis on the aesthetics of the materials used, ensuring that both children and adults share a sensory and creative experience of high quality.

The workshops are primarily designed for children aged 3 years and up, but they can always be tailored to individual needs—whether in terms of age group or theme. So, if you have a request for a specific workshop tailored to your needs, I am happy to create a program that fits exactly what you are looking for.

Collagerie

Collage is a wonderful way to spark the imagination. Through this creative puzzle, we create new worlds and stories, deciding for ourselves which pieces fit together. We use inspiring materials from old books, magazines, beautiful wrapping paper, and hand-dyed paper to craft unique works. Participants will learn different techniques depending on their age and experience.

New life for old books

Books are treasures that fill the mind and heart with stories and knowledge. But once they have fulfilled that purpose, they can also be used to create art. In this workshop, we make everything from collages to delicate small sculptures using the beautifully yellowed book pages, which we cut, dye, draw on, and even weave with.

Microcosmos

We build a magical little world inside each of our shoeboxes and create our own unique, fantastic stories based on the contents of the box.

Mask Workshop

This workshop is inspired by the colorful folkloric carnival traditions of mountain villages in Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe. Using natural materials and cardboard, we create imaginative masks that can be used for carnival celebrations or as decorative elements on the walls of children’s rooms.
